In some instances, your retirement plan committee may lack the expertise to prudently address all areas of its fiduciary responsibility. The Department of Labor allows fiduciaries to hire service providers to handle fiduciary functions where the committee lacks expertise. This does not absolve the committee of their responsibility in that area but necessitates prudent monitoring and oversight of the service provider and their fees.

Hailey McLaughlin is a consultant and the director of vendor services for Multnomah Group. She is responsible for serving retirement plan sponsor clients on investment menu construction, investment manager selection, fiduciary governance, and vendor management. Hailey chairs the firm's Vendor Services Committee which seeks to keep the firm apprised of the services and capabilities of our recordkeeping vendor partners as well as providing support, training and resources for the firm’s vendor search projects. She is also a member of the firm's Technical Services Committee.

Breion Rollins is a consultant for Multnomah Group. He is a member of the firm’s Technical Service and Vendor Services Committees. He works with clients advising them on investment menu construction, investment manager selection, fiduciary governance, and vendor management.
Breion’s background includes 13 years of experience working within human resources, with 10 years focused on benefits in higher education. Most recently, he worked at the University of Houston and was responsible for managing and leading the operations team for employee benefits, wellness, and customer service.

Greg Johnson is a senior consultant and the director of ERISA technical services for Multnomah Group. In that role, he serves as the chair of the firm’s Technical Services Committee.
