Nelson Rutherford is a senior financial planner for Multnomah Group. With more than three decades of financial planning experience, Nelson works with individuals and families on their tax planning, retirement plan design and consulting, and personal financial planning. He has also assisted trustees and sponsors in managing their retirement plan, charitable, institutional, and beneficiary wealth.
Previous to joining Multnomah Group, Nelson was the sole practitioner in a financial advisory firm, and before that, he was a senior partner in a Portland-area financial and tax planning organization.
Nelson is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a CPA with Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credentials. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Oregon Society of CPAs, and the Financial Planning Association of Oregon and SW Washington. AICPA Nelson holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
