The Fiscal Cliff: Crisis Averted?

A Multnomah Group Event

In the 13th hour, Congress avoided the “fiscal cliff” by passing the American Taxpayer Relief Act. This legislation preserved most of the George W. Bush-era tax cuts and carved out some new rules as well. This webinar will provide context around the passage of the American Taxpayer Relief Act and will summarize its provisions, with an emphasis on the impact of this major legislation to retirement plans. Additionally, remaining economic headwinds that prevail in the United States will be examined.
